Tate:
Edward Burne-Jones Trailer
as Co-Producer
This trailer was produced to market the Edward Burne-Jones exhibition at Tate Britain. The concept recreated three of Burne-Jones’s most known works in a cathedral in North London.
The trailer was targeted at younger audiences. We disrupted the aesthetics of Pre-Raphaelite paintings by having women of colour appear alongside the traditional white woman with red hair. We removed all men from the recreations, changing the romantic narrative to a queer one. The trailer was received well by audiences, both in the target group but also by Tate’s more traditional older audience.
